A Pennsylvania woman was arrested after allegedly driving into oncoming traffic and hitting a car with three passengers to "test her faith," according to an affidavit from Pennsylvania State Police.

Nadejda Reilly, 51, told Pennsylvania State Trooper Bruce Balliet on January 7 that she was driving on a local route for several hours waiting for a "calling from God."

When she saw a car driving on the opposite side of State Route 93, she allegedly "wanted to test her faith by driving through the vehicle," according to the affidavit.

She then drove her 2017 Kia Optima into the opposing lane of traffic and struck the car, the affidavit said.

Oh come on now... you can't leave this gem out:

"Reilly related God took care of her by not letting her injured," Bailliet wrote in the affidavit. "Reilly expressed no concern or remorse for the victims. Reilly also stated she did not care if the other people were injured because God would have taken care of them."

Fortunately the court took her faith in god to be a threat to the community and locked her up.

Reilly was originally granted bail at $50,000, but Judge Joseph D. Homanko Sr. revoked it last Wednesday, according to court documents. The judge stated in court that based on the allegations, his reasoning on revoking the bail was to protect the community and to ensure that Reilly received help that was required for her care, according to Reilly's attorney, Andrew Theyken Bench.

Bench declined to comment further on the case.
When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

Actually, this model for crime gets worked weekly in CA and recently got exported to NV. The crooks go to churches (especially ones with all-day activities), break into cars with visible garage door openers, pop the glove box for the registration to get the address of the car owners' homes, and use the garage door openers to empty their houses while the believers are under God's protective shield of grace at church, then thank God for protecting them by allowing this to happen while they weren't home.

Reading the funeral notices and robbing the deceaseds' homes during the funerals is a long-time practice.

For sure. Never leave the deceased's house empty during the funeral/wake.

Or post fake funeral notices, wait home with a shotgun. (I'm feeling really testy this morning after a half hour on the phone with ATT.)

Televangelism, in a nutshell, is to capitalize on a person's fear to get rich.

The colloidal silver example illustrates the Venn Diagram overlap between credulous hippies at the local health food store, and credulous worshippers at the local prosperity gospel church.
