Anyway, heads up: Rumors going around about a coup d'etat in China right now. Just what the world needs, along with the both-sides debate in the US lately being whether we want to be a white supremacist authoritarian system or a boring old democracy where elections actually stick; and with Russia being in the going for broke last throes of trying to get the old USSR back together (plus, Iran's fundy leadership seeing growing resistance and possibly destabilizing).
