Schipperkes too!
Standing no higher than 13 inches, Schipperkes are small dogs built for hard work. Schips were created as ratters and watchdogs. Their powerful jaws, necks, and forequarters—coupled with a stealthy, catlike hunting style—make them ideal rat-catching machines.
Really rat catching should be left to dogs. Cats take care of the smaller stuff.“When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

^My wife isn't the most observant person. My dogs had a toy squirrel and it looked pretty close to a real squirrel. Well she noticed the toy squirrel sitting in front of the fireplace which was normal for the dogs to leave it there. Well after awhile she decided to pick it up only to realize it was an actual dead squirrel they left for a present.

Years ago I went to kiss my kid goodnight or tuck him in or whatever and he had this big stuffed animal on the bed and I went to pick it up and it was the biggest dead groundhog I've ever seen, a gift for him from one of the dogs. Did startle me some I'll admit.

It has been absolutely crazy this year. We used to have a lot of wild kitties roamng around, but they got rounded up and shipped off. We're talking a dozen or two up the food chain. Amazing difference.
Now I can put out 5 traps a night, every night, and get 5 snappers every time. It gets old dealing with all the dead bodies, but what am I gonna do? Lazy cat is lazy. She just plays with them any more.
Watched a big fatty run across the passenger side floorboard and up the front vent area of the van yesterday as I was packing up for a road trip. Set 2 traps. BAM!

Mostly dead snake in the kitchen yesterday. Didn't take a photo.. Had to grab it before it slithered under an appliance. I guess the cat got bored with it before she finished it off..

Had my first mouse-in-the-house experience ever this week.
Started off with the cat camping out near the fridge and stove. Nothing super suspicious at first. Then I started to hear a scratching noise every now and then. Thought that I was losing my mind.
Was in total denial about it, until I finally got a peek at the little fucker near the kitchen stove. Darted out of sight before I could do anything. Laid out some newly-bought victor snap traps with peanut butter. Kept licking it off without a trigger, so stuffed a little cheddar cheese in the trigger.
Was watching a movie with the lady, when- *SNAP*. Walked into the kitchen and saw him taking his last few breaths. Really unsettled me in a way, since you knew it was mouses fault for taking refugee from the cold fall weather.
Thankful that he's gone, but the act of killing him gave me no joy.

Buck up man. There's plenty more where he came from.

Yeah if you only caught one, reset that trap. Catch more. Read up on proper trap placement. I caught a whole family of like 5 in row one night with one trap. 15 minute interval, snap! Reset. 15 minutes... Snap! Get em all.

We had mice in a ski bum house I lived in. I remember lying in my bed and you could hear them running in the floors. One day, one of the roommates makes pot cookies and leaves them out overnight on the stove. Wake up the next morning to one or two half eaten cookies. We didn't hear mice for about two months after that, but they eventually came back.
Moral of the story you can overdose on weed. If you're a mouse
