Mentioned it in the time travel/concert thread.
Rainy night means it’s going to get cued up this evening.

Dude, I've been watching Dylan all my life. I don't need no sniveling nerd rock critic to tell me how to think about him and Scorcese.

Watched it last night and then read the article.
I wondered how Sharon Stone could possibly been old enough in 1976 to go on tour with the carnival.
As for the rest, Bob has always been an obfuscater of truth. Hell, he’s a well known plagiarist and has never answered a interview question with a straight answer. Nothing new there.

Cool story about how he hooked up with his violinist. Saw a chick with very long hair carrying a violin case walking down the street in Manhattan, and the rest is history.

Crazy bunch of musicians. Dylan always had a certain gut feeling about people, and always assembled great bands. I didn't realize that Mick Ronson was in this travelling band, with the almost glam haircut. (There's a little aside in the doc where somebody asked Mick if he loved Bob, and he answered, uh, I don't know, he's never said a word to me) This guy got around. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Ronson Bowie to Dylan to Elton John to Lou Reed and most anybody who would hire him. Fun stuff.

Love the list at the end of every Dylan concert up to end of 18. Hard working man.
Watch it just for the performance footage. Excellent.
You wonder how much control Dylan or Scorsese had over the final cut. Probably never know.
