I want the Dutch to win, but think the Swedes will pull it off... the open of the game does not come close to the intensity and non stop action compared to yesterday's game...

A. White was offsides. Wasn’t a question per rules. Good call.
B. PK was debatable. I thought PK and yellow. Clearly clipped her foot as she went to shoot but was more incidental contact. Has to be a PK but not denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity.
C. Regardless of goals, both Rapinoe and Press have been poor. Rapinoe better than Press though. However they are working hard. Press worked her ass of to cover back.
D. Tobin Heath is god. Holy shit.
E. Ellis has to stop pulling back the bus with 20-40 minutes left. We have looked shakier with a back 5 than in the 4-3-3 and it’s gonna bite us.
F. Alex Morgan drinking England’s tea 2 days from the 4th of July against the country we blew off the map 250 years ago, making fun of their tea drinking in general, calling it as easy as a cup of tea, and just generally owning the entire country of England with another 12 levels of subtext is possibly the single most epic moment of shit talking in history. I am in awe. Boston Tea Party for sure.
G. Rose Lavell isn’t Heath, but she’s getting closer and is becoming a monster in her own right.
H. Our center backs don’t get nearly enough credit.

Just so you have all of it, I also lived in Korea for a year in 71 while my dad was on the 38th there. Anyway, to be fair, there are worse places than Charlotte for sure. I should stop bashing Charlotte. Just glad that we have better skiing in NC than what I grew up with in Minnesota. Perhaps we should just chill on the personal bullshit and maybe even hook up for some turns around Boone next season. We don't have to agree on politics and I never talk social or political issues while skiing anyway..

Ya we gonna light up the street here. Mostly legal class C fountains but will also break out a couple of the less legal black cats, roman candles, and a couple small mortars. I try to keep it limited to stuff that won't fly past our property.

It looks like we have the full team available to play today... Def stoked to see what Lavelle does... I have been a Tobin Heath fanboy for a while and after this tournament totally digging Lavelles style of play...
