    Patchskiing 2019 Edition

Fall creek mtn today from Lindsay Lake, tahoe national forest. You can easily drive a 4x4 within a quarter mile of the lake. Did not inspect beyond the vantage of this photo. I hope somebody gets it!

Blue Lakes Road Ridge, June 23, 2019

Zooey and I went out for a recon ski mission from where Blue Lakes Road was gated. We hiked the ridge to get a good look at The Nipple, which can be seen in the background.

After skiing The Nipple, B Cup Chute the previous day and skiing Blue Lakes Road Ridge the previous week, I took Zooey with me for a recon ski mission to check out Jeff Davis Peak. We hiked above Blue Lakes Road Ridge on our approach.

    The Nipple, July 5, 2019

After skiing areas close to The Nipple over the past couple of weeks and seeing an abundant snowpack, it was time to do a recon ski mission to the East Ridge.

    The Nipple, July 6, 2019

After doing a recon ski mission to The Nipple the previous day, we returned to The Nipple to explore more.

Zooey and Penny giving perspective to a panoramic view of the East Ridge of The Nipple. The highest patch, the Africa Patch, is the destination for my first three runs. Next, I did two runs on the Far East Patch just below it to looker's right.

Swissiphic, I've heard of sand dune skiing, but this takes it to another level.
