Bunch of scumbag lawyers behind it all. Always thought that. Now confirmed. Perhaps the last straw was when they tried slapping that warning on coffee and hopefully that's what helped shine the spotlight on these Prop 65 jerkwads.

Looks like it was a college prof scam as well enabled by said lawyers? Professor in bullshit needs grant funding, starts this non-profit to shake down large companies, then justifies his own existence by having his non-profit give himself grants.

Any sleazy lawyers care to elaborate if he needs to disclose that in court? That seems to be the lynchpin.

Acrylamide... I used that shit by the truck-loads back when I was sequencing hudge amounts of recombinant and genomic DNA. Good times!

Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that sleazy lawyers are behind this. Thanks to never-ending lawsuits they are probably responsible for more of California's kooky laws than our kooky politicians (who are also mostly lawyers)

The only surprise is the link to UC cancer researcher and that lawsuits help fund his work.
