Homemade Tacos: Hard or Soft??
The app still can't post polls, so fuck the app and fuck the poll. Just reply in comments.
When you make Tacos at home do you prefer Hard or Soft?
How about the rest of your family?
Around here the wife likes it Hard, but I prefer Soft.
Usually when she's done I'll have 1 last Hard one, and that's good too.
Yes, I realize what I just wrote, and am seriously talking about Tacos.
What's your style??

Depends on what's going inside. Ground beef is strictly hard shell, real meat it's soft(fresh corn tortillas).

^ Hard Taco for any kind of ground. Soft for shredded or sliced proteins.
Always Corn.

We buy decent store bought soft tortillas and then fry them at home to make 'homemade' hard shells. Way better than Old El Paso or whatever.

Currently eating my standard home made ground beef tacos in store bought (warmed) soft flour tortillas.
I love them, but they don't taste quite as good as they used to. Thanks guys.....
Srsly tho, keep it coming, looking to up my game!

When I am lazy, I throw the tortilla in the toaster oven for a little bit, then top with stuff and go a little longer. Take it out, fold it however it works and eat. I prefer wrapping whenever possible as it holds everything in and keeps the grease in check somewhat.

That's a flour tortilla, Skip Intro.
Ground beef doesn't belong on anything that should be called a taco.
Double tortillas are usually for wrapping around a larger amount of filling or if the filling is very wet, like lots of Pico de Gallo, to keep the tortilla from disintegrating. You skootch them apart a bit.

God, what a bunch of Philistines
Hard shell taco is an American invention

Also won’t see ground meat fillings in Mexico outside of a tourist hotel - just crappy cuts of slow cooked animals like cow, chicken, pork, sheep and goat. Oh yea, and fish/shellfish...yumm
Folded in half, no tuck
Keeps taco from falling apart if filling too wet, tortilla too dry, or you overstuff the tortilla.
Edit - Tippster beat me to some of this.
And sum jong guy knows as much about tacos as he does about avalanche science and ON3p Billygoats (I.e. zero)

A taco made with a flour tortilla is just an open face burrito.
