The Apocalypse is here: pogo stick disruption

    File under ‘fucking LOL’: https://www.google.com/amp/s/jalopni...1835184447/amp

If you needed any further proof that we live in hell and everything is meaningless, there is a new tech-less pogo-stick-sharing micro mobility startup from Sweden called Cangoroo that people are apparently taking seriously. Allegedly intended to compete with soul-crushingly popular danger sticks known as dockless e-scooters, this pogo nonsense is eventually coming to American shores.

Remember Daniel? He was a mini-celebrity on here back in the day, I think he might have even posted here once. He could be their spokesperson.

I’d Ike to go to Nova Scotia and see what Daniel is doing today. Does he still jump on some over-saturated plywood in his backyard? Or has he moved on? He was so dedicated to his craft.

Is the Danger Stick a pogo stick or a scooter? Cause, if I'm a cop, and I see some 40+ year old bangin around on a pogo stick, I know for a fact he's been drinking.

Whereas experience tells me if it's a Bird scooter, they just roll their eyes at the herd of not-quite-young-professionals darting across all form of traffic control on their rush back from a 4-8 beer lunch.
I still call it The Jake.

Yeah Bird scooter. It gets some looks for sure, positive or negative I don't much care. Canada and BC in particular are pretty insane with the DUI laws...

while we're on the subject, why is downhill mountain pogo sticking not a niche sport? with modern shock technology on a performance pogo stick, they could clean rowdy lines that MTBs couldn't dream of.

When did pogo sticks become NOT a thing?! They were everywhere when I was a kid. I suspect some kind of conspiracy involving pet rocks

As long as pogo sticks kept out of wilderness, everything's ok.

The west wasn't won on a pogo stick son.

Cangoroo isn't a pogo stick company. It's a disruptive innovator positioned at the nexus of mobility, autonomy and recreation.
