Enve M60 Forty HV 29" Rims

These carbon rims only have a few rides on them, No dents and nothing more than some surface scratches on them. One can be registered for warranty with Enve. Comes with unknown aero spokes that came with the Enve rims, and enve nipples, rim tape.

I'm struggling with a fair price for these. I have them listed locally (UT) for $600, will do $500 for mag? I think that's fair. Shipping to lower 48 for cost of shipping from SLC.

Most (all?) Enves I've seen come with Sapim CX-Rays. Which means those are really nice spokes - like $250 worth of spokes.

What hubs? Boost? Driver type? Been looking for an XC-ish set for some slicker totes for the hardtail.

I read that they are rims only.
So I guess they can be what ever hubs you want, what ever spacing you want. What ever driver you want. Even whatever spokes and nipples you want.

Ha! After I posted that I considered they were probably rims only, then I just went on living my life.

Whoops, sorry I missed these comments. Yes, get what ever hub you want, get them built and have a bad-ass new set of rims for cheaper than some equivalent used ones. Or is my math off?

Again, one of these can be warrantied. That means use it as a back rim, to me. I think they offer a discount to ones that aren't registered/bought used but check the enve site to be sure.

These are in near perfect shape. And the spokes def look like bladed Sapim CX-Rays. but there's no logo or anything to identify them.

I've gone to shock therapy to stop this and to get them sold.

Dropping them to $400 or OBO. 28 holed carbon hoops, get some.

    It's not that I don't want them...

Anyway, isn't spoke length an issue as to whether or not you can use the included spokes?

Are the nipples/spokes used? Is that an issue?

A bike tech once mentioned to me that you can't reuse rims since once they've been laced up, there is a notch in the hole and therefore it won't fit being laced to a different hub with presumably different dimensions. Bullshit? Depends on the rim?
    No longer stuck.

OK, I'm ready to just get rid of these fucking things. Dropped the price from $600, now it's $350 OBO.

Are these 26 mm inner width? I’m building up a wheel set for the GF, looking for 30 mm rims.

How many holes? Looking at cheap hubs now to see how I can get this whole build under budget
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

OK, they are 292 end-to-end, but I learned that I shoulda measured from end-to-mid-curve if that makes sense. So 292is 1-2mm off is my guess. If you want a more exact measurement I can tonight.

Yea, hook the J-bend over the end of your ruler. The threaded end will give you the length.
They might all be one length, or there could be 42 of one length and 14 of another length. Or three different or 4 different lengths. It's annoying, but you kinda gotta measure each one to not miss 2mm differences.

Really, to utilize the spokes, you'd either need to match the hub they came off, or just sell them on ebay.
Still, that's a Siiiiiiiiiiccckkkkk deal for 2 Enve rims even without the spokes. I'm sure they're a lot more burly than Chinese Ebay hoops.
However many are in a shit ton.

    Well fuck me sideways.
Chances are the flange size/spacing is the same as 6-Bolt 240s as well as with 350s. If so, much bigger potential to match up those spokes.
