It looks like the U.S. actually has more knife murders than the U.K. (per capita). Had trouble finding a statistic for non fatal U.S. knife crimes. But it seems like maybe the brits are stabbier but muricans are better at it?

why are knives so pointy anyways? I have a couple Japanese-style knives with rounded tips and they're definitely my go-to knives.

I did see a very compelling sous vide demonstration that was part of a tasting event our last time at Blackberry Farm.
I also saw a bust of Tonya Harding carved out of butter at the Minnesota state fair.
No one was stabbed at either.I still call it The Jake.

In relation to knife attacks..? Once again you are "reaching". And offer up no causes or solutions.
Oh whoops, another one!

Doesn't the fact that knives are already regulated in GB so there aren't as many large knives available (handy when you're pissed off at someone) there impact the kill ratio? Takes a lot more effort and skill to kill someone with a box cutter or butter knife (folding knife with blade under 3") than it does with a machete or good hunting knife..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

They've just switched to Henckels from the kitchen.
Hence the ban on kitchen knives with pointy ends.
That should do it... Until they move to axes. Or pruning shears. Or whatever those testy fucks think of next.
