DIY Heat Molding Sidas Boot liners

So I basically got gifted some Atomic Redster 130s and they have Sidas liners. They're obviously heat moldable but my lame google skillz could not locate any advice how to heat for a DIY mold for these particular liners. Same as Intuitions? I've probably done a dozen or more of those for family and friends.

1) you CAN mold them, but skiing on them for a few days is the same as well

Take a picture of the liner and let us see it, SIDAS makes lots of different liners.

Some go in the oven, some on the heat stax, some are foam injected. Typically the OEM Atomic ones go on the stax.

I call bullshit on number 2. I had some dumbass salesman tell me the same thing once and had lots of issues until I molded them in my oven. Boom, done, no issues. I have done my own molding/fitting ever since. Sorry, but this is a huge pet peeve of mine and I get tired of hearing it from people that should know better.

Might it decrease liner life? Sure, but so what, I want a good fit.

Reviving an old thread for an update on the liners that come in the new Dynafit Hoji Free. I plan to mold them at home, so instructions for a convection oven or similar would be most appreciated.

I’ve moulded several pairs at home best advice I can give is to clean the oven first and keep checking every 60 seconds so that you see the liners soften as they get to the right temperature.

On my feet I wore ski socks, with two toe caps made from the toes of old wool socks. I pulled a pair of women's knee high tights over the top of the socks to hold the toe caps and the insoles in place.

One of the times I lifted my toes up by standing on a couple of books, this certainly didn't make things worse, and may have helped the heel pockets to form.

I like to do one boot at a time, less to worry about.

First time I did it my girlfriend was a bit shocked when she looked in my oven and noticed that I'd cleaned it.
