Madagascar- anyone been?
Got about 2 weeks in country. It's a huge island and roads apparently suck, getting around is either slow or expensive so we're deciding to stick mostly to the RN7 from Antananarivo to Toliara with a mix of public transport and private drivers. Planning on day trips to Andasibe, Ranomanfana, and some random parks/sanctuaries along the way. Booked multi-day treks in Isalo and Andringitra. Ending with 4 days in Anakao for some surf/diving before flying back to Tana.
Anyone have any other recommendations in this area, or first-hand experiences? Thanks-

Don't go barefoot; my sister did a stint there in the Peace Corps and got some weird foot parasite.
