SIF, tons or respect to your daughter. Coming off the trail probably would have been the easier choice.

Terrorizing people on the trail since April. Check out the video from Odie Norman about half way down:

    https://heavy.com/news/2019/05/james-jordan-sovereign/

This compassionate man saw a guy hiking with his dog and who needed help. I'm guessing that many other hikers saw the same thing, especially those from back in April. Sad, terrible ending.

Again though, bears are the threat, not some random psycho when it comes to a group of 12 older teens and pretty fit adult males.
I did a 2 week trip at Philmont back in the day. We had no bear spray, but we had an FBI agent with us, and he was allowed to carry.

Im sorry. You are too stupid to differentiate sarcasm from real advice. Thoughts and prayers.

We did 4 weeks on the trail in Philmont just before I Eagle’d out. Didn’t have armed guards though. What made you guys so damned special?

Thank goodness your girl is ok.

Now every frightened conservative guy and girl on the A trail are going to be packing, concealed carry?

Now THAT sounds like a significant increase in the danger on the trail. Bobby S discharging into the woods, at what he’s convinced is the sound of an approaching deviant with a machete, and rather into the back of a neighboring camper pissing onto a tree.

This seems like projection about your own insecurities involving situational awareness exacerbated by carrying a potentially fatal weapon.

Appalachian Trail murder and attack, too close for comfort

You are 100 times more likely to be attacked by a tweaker than a fucking bear. Especially a girl.

And I knew a few girls in college whose fathers sent them to school with a small pistol, and this was Davis, so probably liberals too.

You're claiming you're more likely to be attacked by a girl tweaker?

As I have witnessed bears fucking in the wilderness, I can attest that before the fucking, there was a lot of fighting, but during the fucking, and for a significant period after the fucking, no other fucks were given.
