Scenic Washington!
Cool FB page - these are the kind of pages I like to follow. Check out the interactive map:
Scenic Washington
This is a great page too:
365 Things to Do in Washington State
Not Washington but Idaho Magazine posts up some beautiful stuff and is worth following. The only drama here is majestic mountains, beautiful sunsets and amazing wildlife.“When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. Yeah.... I'm not big on it either and never post myself. Unfortunately it is the only way some of my friends in Seattle and beyond communicate anymore. I only have maybe a dozen people I follow most of the other stuff is local farms so I can keep up on what produce they have for sale and pages like the ones I posted above.

Scenic Washington!
I’m not going to bother opening some stupid links but I bet none of the 365 things to do are backcountry skiing. Good.
So fucking dumb.
Mrs. Plug and I do all kinds of shit and sometimes one of our friends will say: Oh I just saw that place written up in the New York Times magazine or travel section” (or something else), and I’m like “Fuuuuuuuck”.Well maybe I'm the faggot America

I have seen some winter activities come across their feed but I don't pay attention to everything they post. I will say that I've learned about more than a couple points of interest and historical sites in Washington that I wasn't aware of prior to following Scenic Washington. You can't go if you don't know and articles are a way of finding out.
For those interested in clicking this post has some great info on things to do and see in the Methow Valley. Things like getting away and relaxing/dining at Sun Mountain lodge, mountain biking, hiking, enjoying the rich history of Winthrop, quaffing local brews etc. etc.

Well I thought I was doing what is/was common among friends, sharing information that I thought others might enjoy but apparently not. Seems everything is seen as having an ulterior motive anymore. Shame. This world has become very sad. I keep trying to buck-up about it but I only have so much energy these days and little desire to deal with negativity anymore. Solitude ain't such a bad thing and I know the person I'm with won't get down on me for what I say or do.

I for one enjoy KQ's Wa-State plugs.
I get the same from a lot of you morons here. I think it's cool to learn and see all I can about places where I'm not. This place is really good at doing just that and giving the local beta on pretty much anywhere.
That's why it bums me out when some go all Hugh here and get all provincial about how only their corner of this giant planet is the best and there are no redeeming qualities about anywhere else. (or was Hugh anti-provincial? We may never know) The online nose-sneer is sooo easy.
There's beauty everywhere in this country, you only gotta allow yourself to see it.
Ogdens man.I still call it The Jake.

Bingo. I travel around the northeast pretty extensively and so far this year it's been NY State almost exclusively. I let Google maps or the nav in my car direct me a lot of the time and it comes up with some crazy roads in places I'd never see otherwise. A few days ago it sent me over 2 mountains in the never seen parts of the high peaks of the Catskills, I could hear fiddles playing when I turned off the main road and headed UP. Fkn beautiful and well worth the extra time spent. Some of you westerners might think there's nothing worth seeing here but you'd be wrong
I have been making a point of reading KQ posts for 15 years (more?) and enjoy damn near every one of them. Thanks KQ
