I understand. It's edgy here. Not quite Londonderry edgy, but edgy.

I’ll be on Long Beach Island this summer, I hear it’s not as stabby as Ocean City.

Welcome. Unlike OC, you'll be able to buy alcohol there. I'm not sure about sleeping in the car though. I know in OC that's frowned upon.

Also, way too much green in some spots that has since been eradicated.

But Mt Si would still be a national park if it was anywhere east of the Mississippi.. right?

(Edit to add.. where did all those new tiny town houses near the roundabout spring up from?)

Worst place I've ever lived in my life. I hated seeing that out my window every morning.

I may end up invading SW Montana in 2 years (plays into a potential 5 year plan) but in the case I do not I'd like to move back to the Snoqualmie Valley or down to black diamond enumclaw area. My to favorite areas in Western WA.

Jack Mountain is in the Skagit river drainage. I don’t think you can see it from the Methow, unless you were on Silverstar or another high peak. Beautiful nonetheless.

Good call. I've been trying to figure out if that's a weird angle at Gardner or Robinson or if it actually is Jack?

#139 - Have you ever seen the thick carpet of yellow balsamroot that blankets Dog Mountain in springtime? Located near Stevenson, Washington, this area feels as though you’re walking in fields of gold, high above the Columbia River. (Photo by Andre Anjos)

Great, I read that last part in Sting’s voice and now that song is stuck in my head.
I still call it The Jake.
