Damaged Tire - ride it or bin it???

    Hey All,

Did a search of this Forum with no luck so...

I crashed my mtb a few days ago which resulted in a wobble in the front tire that wasn't there before the crash. The tire is a Maxxis Minion DHF 2.3 EXO TR. The wheel has been trued, the tire completely removed and re-installed, and the wobble is still present. I think it's due to sidewall/carcass separation/damage. My question is: Is this tire safe for continued use or is there a risk of catastrophic failure at the damaged area? Thanks in advance for advice and input!

I was worried about that, so I'm gonna replace it. I just wanted confirmation here for the suggestions over at mtbr.

    Thanks for the help!
