    Pivot/FKS 18 GripWalk AFD

Just placed my 19/20 spare parts order with Look for delivery in Sept/Oct and thought that the P18 loving mags might be interested to know that a replacement GripWalk AFD will be available from then. So if you want a set get your local Look/Rossi dealer to order them now. The part number is FCIF010.

Thanks, Jon. If you get some in, would you mind posting a photo of the GripWalk and ISO 5355 ones side by side?

That part is not available as a spare. Look (like all of the other binding makers) don't list part numbers for every component and don't offer every part as a spare. Here's the 19-20 Parts List. The parts that have been crossed out were on close-out last season and are now no longer available. Apologies for the quality but if anyone wants a copy just PM your email address and I'll send you the Excel document.

Spyderjon you dont happen to have any of the non-gripwalk AFD’s?

Also anyone know what the screws are used for the old AFD?

I'm pretty sure I have got some alpine only P18 AFD'd left. It's nearly 11pm here in the UK so I'll check tomorrow when I'm back in my shop and get back to you.

Re the screw length. Are you using the 4mm shims/spacers that came with the P18's?

    Awesome, thanks for checking!

No I am forgoing the shim as I like the increased ramp, it’s the reason I’m looking for the old AFD’s as I feel a big difference with the WTR ones.

So just the length of the short screws, same as the two front ones on the heel.

If you PM me your address I'll put them in the post to you. Might take a week or two to get to you in BC though.

Bumping a old thread, but hopefully someone has some info...

I have some old c.2014/15 Rossi FKS 18s and am looking to make them GW compatible. I think the AFDs Spyderjon posted above would kind of work with some modifications? Is that correct?

Are there any other solutions out there? Considering using one pair for a CAST setup but not sure what to do with the others...

Have to switch screws also. GW afd screws are longer

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I swapped the (somewhat broken) alpine pedestal / AFD for GripWalk pedestal (the one I removed from the Pivot15 toe I Castified) on an identical binding yesterday, and it worked like a charm.

If you are thinking Cast then just order the pedestal with a GripWalk AFD and a/multiple second ski kit/kits, and / or swap with mr_pretzel.
