    Poll: Airbag Use

Did you ski or ride with an avalanche airbag system this winter? If so what did you use.
If not, what was the reasoning. Cost, Weight, False Confidence?

Know your risk and how to mitigate it.

Skiing above treeline big open bowls (bowels ) -> bring the bag
Skiing something that I boot up -> probably ditch the bag i'll be able to assess the risk while hiking up and if worried would likely abort.
Skiing tight trees -> ditch the bag, cuz that won't help me
Skiing Cat accessed terrain -> bring the bag
Skiing summer volcanoes or spring corn -> ditch the bag.

There is no "one size fits all approach" use your noggin'

Yeah, I'm on board with pretty much everything skilyft says, though I err more on the side of caution (like I would actually wear it booting up something or in tight trees) since I own the bag anyway and figure humping that angry monkey on my back is good training regardless.

Agree whole heartedly with the use of noggin approach.

    Shit....
I missed that. Perhaps I don't agree with SkiLyft that much after all. I like my bowels a little constricted.

Bahahahahah -- Damn was planning on listing one tonight. Standard TGR pricing might not apply.
