Great TR boissal! I enjoyed the words and photos, and good job on the south slope. I ogled over that drainage from the summit when I skied wheeler a few years ago. Great stuff as usual.

Is there not a basin in GBNP? seems like there are a few drainages.....

Not really, you can see them though. They kinda drew an oval around the mountain range to protect the pines, and used the caves as the starter. Nevada is basically one basin after another between mountain ranges.

Nice trip and reporting! Skiied one of those long east facing lines off Jeff Davis many years ago and before that with some of the old TTips UT crew. I think TriU was there and WRA too one year.

GBNP has more spirits and spirituality than anywhere I've ever been. A solo trip there is a mandatory pilgrimage.

So epic! Thanks for the report and photos. Been wanting to ski that, and see the trees, for many years...

Great to read with morning coffee. Was a monster season here and I am glad somebody got out and looked like a great adventure
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Thanks yo! Looking back at this pics and staring at the thermometer happily climbing into the triple digits every day really makes me want permanent winter...
