The spindles on those xtr pedals are the weak link in her system imo.

    Something like this.
I have a Garmin edge 500 I no longer use if you are interested (or anyone else here)
I'd let it go to one of you guys for $75. I've got the manuals, cables etc
Husband got it for me but I generally use my apple watch so haven't used it much and would rather see it used than sit on my bench!

It doesn’t look like that model provides navigation. Is that correct?

They are all about to hit a shit-ton of snow. First in the Towogotee pass area, then the pass between Towogotee and Pinedale. Then four miles of walking (reported) between Brush Mtn Lodge and Steamboat. I'm assuming a bunch the rest of the way in Colorado. I know the southern part of the CO route/northern NM was reported to be snowed in and muddy on the approached. Northbound rider appears to be in it now.

I'd assume she has some sort of a water bladder in there somewhere or maybe a pack/vest?

DId a good dirt/gravel ride yesterday with some guys down in the bitterroot on the sapphire side. Up one drainage, along the ridge, down another. Turns out we went by the northern end of sapphire divide trail 313. Well, techincally not, but the more maintained end anyway.

Like 66mi from florence and back and somewhere between 5-6k ft of vert, depending on who's gps you go by.

some TD riders passing thru the region today. too bad it’s one of the windiest days in awhile. and the direction is not in their favor.
I felt like I was almost pedaling at a stand still on my ebike

Thanks for the offer. I’m looking for something that’s not $250 and can provide nav.

Agree - I was surprised that they didn't have more walking in those two sections. From the dots, they did have some slow movment, but him being able to get 4+hrs of sleep in a hotel overnight should be good. Kato appears to have taken a few naps on the pass between Towogotee and Pinedale (Union pass?)

Cannondale and their gimmicks. Remember back in the day, when they first got into MTB’s? And their bikes had 24” rear wheels and 26” front? The first time I saw one I swore would never buy one of their bikes.

Ted and company seemed to have a good time on mixed surfaces. I really like the Lefty Oliver for smoothing out the bumps.

The cool kids will have to have one.

    I remember the 69ers (26” back, 29” front) but not 46ers.

A buddy of mine at UVM had one of those 46ers. Had the mud collecting under BB U-Brake as well.
