This was the first year in a long time that I did not partake in 420. Partly because it's Easter and I'm visiting some family, but I dunno, it used to me more enjoyable when it had the "fuck the fed. Legalize it!" vibe.

I still love the plant no doubt, and maybe next year the timing/mood will be better.

up here its legal in all of Canada but MJ did not just become " not illegal "

MJ became a consumer product which suddenly needed to be controled by bureaucrats who could fuck up a wet dream and they really didn't want the extra work

so now ya got the legal weed ( buy it for more from a gov approved shop ) and the illegal weed (buy it for less from that same guy you always bought it from)

The bro's I know who are trying to break into the legal business have hit one road block after another trying to get bank acounts/insurance/rent a store/ there are shortages of legal product and apparently the back ground criminal checks were intense

whereas I can just text that guy who will probably deliver the illegal MJ ... for less

it could take 5 yrs to eliminate the black market in Canada
