WTB: short powder skis like Icelantic Maiden 169, Praxis RX 169, Armada Norwalk 169

    Hi there!

Looking for short wide skis for GF.
    Criterias are:
    • between 110 and 120 waist
    • min 165, max 170 length
    • fancy topsheet
    • no line, k2, volkl

Apparently, number of skis in 165-170 (real length) range that are wider then 110 is really low. Out of my research I found these: Icelantic Maiden 111 169, Praxis RX 169, Armada Norwalk 169, Icelantic Nomad 115 171, 4frnt Hoji W 171, Folsom Gold Digger 166, 169, Coalition La Nieve 168, Moment Night Train 168.

If you are holding these skis or something like this, new or used, please msg me. Looking to buy skis flat.

I have a pair of 178 Bacon's; that actually measure about 174. They're center-ish mounted with griffons. Cheap! But maybe longer than you want?

175 Praxis Powders. A little wider then what you asked for but definitely a powder ski. These are my daughters. She hasn’t used them for a couple years (school). One mount for Barons @285 bsl, currently have griffins which I think used the same holes minus the center screw. Flat or with clamps.

Her previous skis were 175 and that's one of the reasons for downsizing. They were too long.

I understand. I've wondered several times if said daughter (115 lbs) should size down. She tried shorter skis but doesn't seem to like them. Started with 164 Bros at age 12 and got these Powder boards at 14. Now spends most of her skiing time on her 173 Praxis MVPs (#3 flex). Great ski, my DD in 193 . Looks like they come in a 163. Might want to add that to your list of possibilities. With the custom sale going on she can pick out her own fancy topsheet

164 are 102 underfoot, not wide enough. She already got 105 waist ski.

Thought of them many times, only thing that stops is tails. Ski would be used as a resort powder/powder touring, but with tails like these I believe skin hooks will constantly slip

My wife has a set of 170 Moment Pikas she is not using, single mount for Barons. I have never ridden them but I think they are more chargy than floppy. But she rips pow with them. If interested I can shoot some photos.
