    Weighted blankets

Anyone using one? Anyone try and give it up? Can it fully replace your comforter? Is a king size one practical or too unwieldy?

I bought a double one for my wife she uses on her side of the bed and she finds it helps her sleep. She puts it on top of the conforter.

Mmmmmm love heavy blankets. Haven't tried a specifically weighted blanket but I do use a heavy comforter. Not enough weight and I don't sleep very well.

(LOL! Have always love those lead aprons they put on you for x-rays. So soothing)

    Wait .....wut?!?!

People like to be trapped under the crushing weight?

Seems risky, if the boogie man is about to stab you and you need to move quickly.

I saw one and bought it on impulse. After about a month, I gave up on it. Wife hated it, too.

They're great if you want to wrap up a body before dumping it into a lake.

At 20 lbs, you could probably buy one locally for much less than the shipping cost. Besides, I may need to keep it around for any needed lake disposals. Thanks to Viva for that suggestion!

Yeah my only usual complaint with some (usually cheap) motels- really, I'm supposed to sleep with a 2mm blanket and crank the heat? Yuck. I'm always asking for more blankets so I can keep the room cool. I don't quite need the equivalent of a doggy thundercoat though.
