    WTB - Spring skis - 184 to 188 cm

Looking for a pair of spring skis, preferably ones that fit more of the "fat GS" description, with metal, and not so much sidecut, like Volkl Kendos, Blizzard Brahmas, Head Monster 88s, or Salomon X-Drive 8.8 FSs. Morning icy groomer performance is important to me. But maybe "all mountain" like Blizzard Bonafides, or Atomic Vantage 97 tis. Don't care about topsheets.

Wow, TGR coming through in Internet time. To be a good consumer, I'll give this thread to the weekend.

I assume that the Dynastars are Legend X88 at 186. I'm going to need to mount Pivots for a 285 mm BSL.

yup sorry, 186 is correct. I actually have a look jig and could drill pivots for that BSL if you would like.

I've got 188 atomic vantage 100tis from 2018. Great ski, just didn't fit my skiing style.

I am selling 2 pairs of older 184cm Mantras. Cheap. Like $50 or whatever.

Somebody buy these. Sharpen the fuck out of them, and then rip morning laps on em before things thaw each day. Gobs of fun. I promise you.

I was in the Headwall liftline a couple of weeks ago, ahead of a twenty something woman and her boyfriend, she was on old Mantras. I had to exclaim, "So vintage Mantras are cool. I feel better about my 2008 Katanas." They seemed to like being told that the skis were cool.

    But I've gone with Leavenworth Skier's X88s.

I’ve got a pair of that vintage Katanas, and they aren’t cool. I don’t get the hype. I want them out of my garage.

Yup. Wish I never sold my 191s. Such a good bad snow ski.
