Wow... I have not been there for a while. It didn't last long.

We parked at Pacific Place in Seattle the other night... that was being built the year we moved here 1998... it is currently under going "modernization" and they apologize for their construction disturbance.

    2.3 mil? Jeez that's a hell of a lot of RP112s
Obviously 2.3 is likely even low. Not all his patients are simple deep cleans. He's a periodontist. Specialists make coin and it can be easier work maybe? Pretty sure my regular dentist makes decent cash too.

Which makes you wonder ... how much do proctologists make?

The whole San Luis Valley is weird, maybe not David Lynch weird, but fucking weird nonetheless.

What do proctologists make? They do have cheery offices that put Perry O'Dontists happy leprechauns and shillelaghs to shame.

Theories on both, without consensus... though the predominant one now suggests a slight climate shift led the already-tenuous agriculture to fail over a few generations. Pressure from other tribes was a likely factor, too. They moved out of the Colorado Plateau in the 12th and 13th centuries to follow rain. Solid archeological evidence in long-established sites up to like 1350, then nothing.

    Barlow Pass and Monte Cristo.

There's remnants of timber railroads all around where we live, big iron bars, plates and stuff in the woods. The big old stumps are freaky too.

    Note shoe above.

    Harbinger?

I've only done the days hikes and easy access ones at Mesa Verde and Chaco. Chaco blew me away with the size of the building.

All along the mountains South of Briancon, along the France/Italy border, there's a ton of old forts up on the hills, some of which have iron barred windows and old iron doors. We climbed and skied the Janus down there and somewhere I have pictures of them.

Old mining ghost towns in the Kootenays

Howser Cr and its tribs just SW of the Bugaboos. A singing forest, a ghost from an old trapper, and animals (including visiting living humans) doing weird behaviors.

Stewart/Hyder, love it but what a weird, quirky place.

Abandoned pulp mills and canneries on the west coast. The smells seem to set the eeriness off the most, combined with the remnants being reclaimed by the vegetation.

My high school in the daytime was weird all right. Sheesh, what a bunch of misfits and miscreants. After all, look what it produced.

Well, you must tell me, baby how your
Head feels under somethin’ like that
Under your brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat
Well you, look so pretty in it
Honey, can I jump on it sometime?
    Yes, I just wanna see
If it’s really that expensive kind
You know it balances on your head just like a

Your brand new leopard-skin pill-box hat
Well if you, wanna see the sun rise
    Honey, I know where

We’ll both just sit there and stare

    And you just sittin’ there
