Love the way the Bs have played with the lead in the 3rd, forechecking hard and shooting at any opportunity.

ETA the optics on the McAvoy hit are not good, and IMO this is a worse offense than any of Marchand’s transgressions this postseason thus far. He will probably get at least a fine. McAvoy is playing better by the game this postseason and is surely our best defenseman.

Explain illegal hit to the head as a minor penalty to me. Is it a minor if the refs think the hit was unintentional? I'm surprised Anderson made it back on the ice. Not surprised that they were friendly in the handshake line.

Was talking to my friend who played d1 and currently refs. His feeling is it should have been a major and a toss from the game due to the fact he went up with his shoulder. He's a Bruins fan.

Fair enough. I don't think the hit was as bad as everyone else seems to. He went up, yeah, and that's a no-no, I get it. But there was simultaneous contact with the chest that took a lot of the force out of it. There was no intent (or maybe a tiny bit at the end), move on play hockey.
