Stoked for ya man! Take full advantage of all the help you can get. Too easy to pass it up and then be regretting that decision for the next few days. Keep that wound clean and recover slowly.

Congrats on the early results mang. You should recover pretty quickly, just can’t do anything fun like ride a bike or ski or paddle a ‘yak for a couple of months.
For me it was walking to keep some level of fitness. There is an esplanade in PDX good for brisk walking & people watching.

In a semi scientific test during those walks, I determined that 87% of the time two or more women are walking together, they talk about how to fix the man in their life.

I love me some Tom Mcall water front walks!

Iíve got nearly a 1000 acres of green space behind the house with nice roads and I can progress to trails.

Updating after my 6 week check up. I went in to this week fully prepared to have all restrictions waived only to get a swift kick to the sack. Restrictions were increased up to 35lbs evenly distributed between 2 hands and still no impact for another 5 weeks. I was not mentally prepared for that...at all. Totally unexpected on my end but no complaints. Highly recommend silicon scar sheets/gel.

Well, back to work tomorrow. Itís hard to be mellow because I feel pretty good. An occasional bump to the shoulder and I remember pretty quickly.

Been drinking bone broth at the wifeís incistence, taking some Tylenol. All in all pretty smooth.

    All in all pretty good.

Sorry for the lack of update I was awaiting my next follow up visit to post. I have been focused on regaining strength. I am still made instantly aware if I try and do too much. Felt like I survived a car wreck after my first and only float trip. I definitely still have those "oh fuck" moments. EMG likely coming for the left forearm/wrist pain. Right fingers still have no feeling
