Wasatch 2019
Getting it started because I am tired of looping on pavement.
Corner canyon clear after the last couple days?
Bobsled?
Anyone been south and give an update on Thunder Mountain?

Rode Eagle Mountain on Monday night. Good to go even a day after the rain this past weekend. Driving past CC had a ton of snow patches I could see from 15 above the temple, so doubt much of it is dry just yet.

Dry Creek to Bobsled is good. The upper part of Bobsled is a bit moist. Corner Canyon is good from Hidden Valley to Ghost Falls, snowed in above that. I imagine Thunder Mountain is still inudated. Southern Utah got pounded with snow this season.

I hit the rock garden section today and it had a good 6” fresh. A free ski contest with a bunch of drop off kids you could check your speed on if needed.

Hit coyote. Several spots where you had to walk to avoid mud, but mostly good.

The whole loop or just the frontside switchbacks?

Frontside. I was with a ten year old.

Coyote is open. You need to portage two 25 yard snow drifts at the summit and there is a 100 yard section you need to walk because a spring is in the trail.
Everything in round valley is open
Everything in soldier hollow is open. Even the stuff off the backside to the lake.

I feel like it's only a matter of time until BLM closes all dispersed camping near Moab: https://www.blm.gov/press-release/bl...mping-proposal

The large groups of side by sides and razors can really create alot of damage playing in the desert around their camps. It is not a matter of if, but when.

Wasatch 2019
Right?! JFC. I guess the Bird exceeding 700 inches should be celebrated but it’s fucking memorial day!
Never been too excited about riding pavement but it’s been a good year to own a road bike. There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

I've heard "meh" regarding that loop. That being said, I have not ridden it personally.
Did you do Dawns>spiro or HAM?"If we can't bring the mountain to the party, let's bring the PARTY to the MOUNTAIN!"

saturday we did armstrong -> MM -> spiro. fair bit of walking over snow, don't recommend it just yet.
yesterday I went up spiro, eagle, CMG and part of MM until hitting snow. came down CMG to the bottom of red bull.
hoping to get a look at moosehouse and all of red bull today, heard both are running really well.
