You can store it in the fridge or even freeze to keep it longer.

Obviously if its in the freezer it has to thaw before use.

Was recently residing in Sri Lanka, fomenting revolution, etc, but fucked up my foot and my neck (pinched nerve @C6), so went back to US for medical, i.e., Vicodin, muscle relaxers, etc. Nothing. Got two jars of ski rub and slathered on a full jar the first week. Healing went into max mode instantly. It does so much more than I ever expected. Good as new again. [/gratifying....]

Question for the chemists... I left my jar in the car and it got warm.

Not totally melted but really soft and it appeared to have separated into a darker thinner liquid on top and the lighter greener goo on the bottom 7/8ths. I chilled it then stirred it up really well. It stayed fairly soft so I froze it and now it stays firm like originally made, at room temp.

Did this fuck anything up or am I good to go?

So yeah, dont leave your jar in hot car just like you are not to do the same to a child or pet.

Not going into the rocket surgery aspect, harm depends on time duration and how high the temp got. What you did was undo the process of combining the ingredients into a usable whipped body butter or cream. You then recombined the ingredients as best you could back into the usable body butter.

Use it and see how it works. It may be ok. My guess is that it is alright. If you feel it has been diminished thru your action then order another jar.

If you need to travel with it would suggest obtaining a smaller container and filling it from the large jar. This way you only change a small amount.

I hear sun brewed mayonnaise is a delicacy in Sri Lanka.

Thanks mags. It doesn't seem to be diminished but effectiveness is always subjective with this.

As stated previously if you live in a hot climate i recommend keeping it in a cool dry place. A refrigerator works well, to maintain the original consistency.

When a batch is made it is then stored in a refrigerator there by insuring it is 100% when it is shipped out to you the end user.
