    Moment Underworld 181s w/Kinpin 13s and skins

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

    181 Moment Underworlds
    • 15/16 topsheet
    • Mounted once for Beast 14's (don't know the bsl but may be able to find out) and currently mounted with Kingpin 13s on the line for a 311 bsl
    • Bases and edges in good condition and recently professionally tuned (have not seen snow since the tune) some base dings were repaired professionally, all were minor and nothing to the core.
    • Some decent topsheet chips from billygoating/bad skiing - I can see glass in 1 or 2 but nothing major IMO
    • Small delam on one tail - whacked a rock when making a backcountry backrest... does not impact ski behavior in any way. Always filled with hot wax whenever I waxed them.

    Kingpin 13s
    • NOT affected by the recall
    • No slop that I have noticed
    • One plastic brake sleeve is missing

    G3 skins
    • Junk in the glue but still stick fine for multiple laps
    • Still grip well

How did you come to the conclusion that filling the tail delam with wax was a good solution?

Someone must have suggested it. Seems to have worked just fine.

Thanks Doe! I don't have as many days on them as I would like, but that should change this month. Definitely pleased so far though!

i'm guessing it's the second pic, and doesn't look like a delam, just a massing small piece of base material. Or maybe a delam epoxied back still with a missing piece that gets filled with wax to keep moisture out..
