Bsl adjust on really old look pivot full concept?

Guessing these bindings got to be 15 or 20 yrs old.
Any of you old shop rats know proper way to set bsl / forward pressure on these bindings?

I'm not super familiar with modern pivots but these seem very different anyway.

Screw at back moves heel piece fore and aft but there's no movement of heel piece when stepping in like in a modern binding and i dont see any indicator for correct adjustment.

I'm sure I'm going to die but if I can beat my kid in the dual panel slalom this weekend I'll at least die a happy man.Click image for larger version.

I believe the original Axials are set correctly when the forward pressure screw is even with the housing when you click the boot in. That's how I always set mine, anyway.

    Ahh, yes.
Tinkering some more I now realize the housing does slide back when stepping in.
So screw even with housing at the orange arrow like in this image??Click image for larger version.

Yup. They aren’t that old. I’d say 2004-2006? There may be marks on the screw? If not, I think you have it right.

Hardly. Now, the ZR18s I have on my Sickles, those things are 20+ years old. So bomber though, those things will never die.

IIRC, those are from the early to mid 00s.

Anyway, screw flush with the top of the hole is correct.

04/05 was the last year of Pivots/Axials. Those are likely a few years older.
