    SOLD: 2015 178 DPS 120 SPOON Pure3

    ** SOLD **

Super fun pow ski and I really hate to sell, but I'm back up to around ten pair of pow skis and need to sell a few pair due to ridiculous overlap....including three pair of Lotus 138's...

    140/120/126, ~1,820g
Topsheets look like new except for one scratch, bases and edges have kissed some rocks but are still in quite good condition, see close-up photos of scrapes.

Initial mount was for Plums. I epoxied plastic plugs in the heel holes, and plugged the toe holes with aluminum #12AB screws (same thread as ski screws) using G/flex epoxy, cut them off, and milled them flat. You could remount next to or even overlap a new mount into these threaded aluminum plugs with no fear of pullout. Current mount is Wardens on the line for a 305 BSL. I was able to "erase" two of the Plum heel holes by using inserts for the Wardens.

I checked to see if a Vipec/Tecton pattern would fit for a 300 BSL, and the toe is fine (the front Fritschi toe holes will be just-in-front-of and to-the-side of the front Plum toe holes) and the heel is fine if you move it back ~3mm so that the front heel holes are behind the Warden inserts. Obviously a larger BSL would be no issue using Vipec/Tecton. You could also do a smaller BSL with no problem at the toe thanks to the threaded aluminum plugs, and at a certain shorter length you'd have to jump the heel mount ahead of the Warden inserts. You could also mount Shift by reusing the two rear Warden toe holes and adding the rest.

Just the skis, I'm keeping the Wardens. The Lotus has a super burly carbon layer, so you could totally just drop another pair of Wardens into the current tapped holes and be completely bomber. I put these 120's next to a 2017 184 Billy Goat with the mount lines aligned, and they're EXACTLY the same profile but with 2" cut off the big twin-tip tail on the Goat. Obviously the shape and width is a little different, but the profile similarity is interesting.

I'm thinking of these for a friend. Do the current wardens have the same hole pattern as what you mounted?

^ Yes, don't believe the Warden mount pattern has ever changed. I mounted 2017 MMC model.
