Sorry I fix the lift , I run the lift and I go rescue the broken folks to . We run 5 lifts with a crew of 5.
3 lifties
1 Patrol/lifty/maintainance
1 Ops Manager/lift/maintainance/patrol assist.
400m (1400ft) vert.
Main lift built in 1959!
A few times a season I use a rescue sled, every week I climb towers and change bearing or put cables back on the wheels.

Hudson Bay Mountain in Smithers B.C. runs a Mueller fixed grip triple chair installed new in 1980. Chair rises about 475 meters (1500 ft) over a length of about 1500 meters (5000 ft). Just curious. What would the replacement cost of this chair be? So taking the existing chair down and A) putting in a similar fixed grip triple or B) putting in a high speed detachable quad.
Tons of variable I know but just wondering what the ball park figure would be for the purchase and installation of a suitable replacement would be.

Year before a local hill installed 6 pack detach and a mid station fixed quad plus snow making up grades for a measly 10 mil.
