GW soled boot w/o walk mode?

So I have always enjoyed lange boots and have been on Freetour 130s in low volume for past 2 seasons. Great boot to tour in. Walk mode is meaningless with a power wrap liner anyway though.

They are just too soft though. My latest pair of skis is just a little too stiff for these boots and I can't drive them hard enough.

I need an alpine boot that will fit my foot (apparently pretty low volume, but high arch) with a rubber GW sole and NO walk mode.

I wish I could just have a separate pair of regular din soled alpine boots, but the hike at MLB is sketch and I basically walk out there at least once every time I ski inbounds, so rubber sole is a must.

    Which boot?

Wouldn't you have to sand off a ton of material from the bottom of a regular alpine sole in order to do this?

Don’t next years Atomic Hawx Ultra 130s come with GripWalk soles?

if the Langes fit you feet, just get some RX 130's and these: http://www.lange-boots.com/product/k...p-walk-soles1p

Ahhh, did not realize the new RX had that capability. That will probably be the way to go then.

Any Atomic boot that has replaceable toes & heels can go GripWalk. Not sure if the US/Canada has brought in the spare parts to do it yet. Fall 2019 for sure.

Most Alpine boots with replaceable soles can go Grip walk.

All Tecnica Mach 1s, Nordica Pro Machines, Lange RXs, Atomic Hawx, K2 Recon, Dalbello KR2 and DS

Yes. Any boot shop can do it. Grind, not sand. Have had walk soles but on my boots for years, currently have Grip-walks on my Krypton Pros. I wouldn't do it any other way at this point.
