    DIA Cluster Tomorrow?

Anyone experienced in navigating DIA after a storm closure? I have a 2pm flight tomorrow that hasn't been canceled yet, so I'm guessing it'll go.

Just wondering what the security line will look like and how soon to get there. I'm not checking any bags and have a boarding pass.

My shuttle options from NOCO get me there at either 1pm (ideal), or the only other one i could get arrives at 9am.

I've never seen a 1 hour security line, but avoid DIA on the usuall busy holidays. Mag consensus?

it will be a shit show in the morn for sure. A lot of canceled flights and people stuck today. I always get to the airport early though. Grab lunch and a couple beers and chill.

Check where your plane is coming from

You should not show up for your flight 1h early tomorrow. No freaking way. 9am will suck but maybe buy a day pass to one of the airline lounges.

I desperately need a computer part to arrive at DIA so I can get something running again. No such luck.

2 years ago I had a flight the day after the airport closed and cancelled all flights. It was fine.

The best part was observing all the abandoned vehicles seemingly strewn about like it was the zombie apocalypse.

It's nice to get recognized at least.

So what will make it busy tomorrow, I'm not sure how it works in this situation. Lots of cancelled flights that either weren't rescheduled or are slated or a few days later. Can they squeeze in more flights between tomorrows scheduled/non-canceled flights? Do people flood in lookng for a standby seat?

And Southwest only has 35 of them and American has 24. Not really going to make a big impact.

It'll be a clusterfuck. But who knows how much. It was fucking empty there today. The biggest problem is they are going to have to land a lot of planes in the early AM that are being relocated from elsewhere back to Denver.

I'll be getting there 3hrs-ish early but i'm flying int'l and checking skis.

“The good news is that so many of our airlines canceled flights ahead of the storm we don’t have large crowds of passengers in the terminals and concourses,” Williams said.

It'll be an interesting DIA experience for sure.

Apparently the line to check in for United stretches clear around the terminal. 1.5hr just to check in.
    Godspeed, brave travelers.

Meh, 35 minutes from shuttle drop, through full security maze to A terminal bar. No checked bags was key. It was controlled chaos, lots of people and long food lines.

Wife had her United STL-DEN for yesterday morning cx prev night, UA said no flight until 18th (and this was for a Fortune 100 company travel account) with 45 minute waits on the company's travel emergency hotline.

I got her a $300 Frontier STL-DEN flight for the same morning, window seat, only got delayed 45min, but back fine. She said DIA was super crowded, but no hassle.
