Pretty sure that McConaughey already made this movie...

    not...exactly....

I bought surfer dude on blu ray for $5 used, it's a decent flick, esp for those not privy to real surfing. It's got Willie AND Woody...C'mon.

THE BEACH BUM is a refreshingly original and subversive new comedy

    vs

Steve Addington (Matthew McConaughey) is a professional surfer and beach bum who lives to ride the waves. Content simply to live in the moment, he has a dilemma when his finances dry up and businessman Eddie Zarno (Jeffrey Nordling) offers to hire him for a virtual reality game. Since there are suddenly no good waves in the ocean, Addington must reconsider Zarno's offer and ponder his place in the world. Struggling with the choice, Addington seeks advice from his friends.

Okay, I concede (a wee bit).
I saw the trailer today before a screening of Gaspar Noe's latest, Climax.
I laughed my ass off for the 3-minutes.
    I am intrigued.

I went the other night. I drank four beers at the house. Went and got hibachi with my buddy. More beer and now sake. Went to a bar near the movie. 6 or so more beers. Uber to the theater. Grab a IPA and head to my seat.

About 20 min in I realize my phone is gone. Fuck...

My buddys phone is at 5%... We risk being stranded if we stay...

We decide to leave. I also don't remember much of the movie. Lots of pot.

    Hope this helped.

    Find your phone ?
You should write a screenplay based on going to a movie and losing a phone and missing the movie
