    Photo TR: Assault on Pisgah

Just a few pictures from a recent trip to Brevard, NC. I'll keep it mostly spam free, if you want to read the full write-up on my Chasing Epic blog, here's the link: http://chasingepicmtb.com/photo-essa...ult-on-pisgah/

Most pictures were taken by me, a couple were taken by one of our other trip leaders, Scott Cody.

Nice, just talked to a buddy last night about when we're going down. Roudy deliciousness.

You guys do Black Mountain from the top?
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Not this time... on the day we were riding over there (Bennett, Lower Black and Sycamore), it was going to pour just after lunch so we decided to do shorter loops in case we got caught. We timed it perfectly and got back to the cars after a Lower/Sycamore loop right as it started to dump on us. 10 minutes later and we would have been drenched and freezing.

Glad you got a window of good weather. You rent bikes there or travel with one?
However many are in a shit ton.

Shipped one of my demo bikes out there, and then my buddies traveled with theirs.

Man, I got a couple days riding there a few years ago but the smoke from the hudge fires nearby put a damper on us riding more than two days. Would love to go back sometime. Love Brevard

    Nice Pics, brings back memories.
My parents retired on the other side of the blueridge from brevard in canton.
Ive ridden all of those trails bunches back in the 90's.
Black from the top is fantastic and one of my favorites.
So much good riding in Pisgah it's hard to get away but if you do try Dupont by Asheville.
Granite slickrock minislabs and some flowey goodness.
Tsali was fun for a day two too

One of my all time favorite places to ride. To me the three Mecca’s of NA are Squamish/Whistler, Moab, and Pigsah. But I don’t know shit about fuck so take that with a bunch of grains of salt.

/\ /\ /\ /\ I've had more fun riding in Pisgah than than in Moab. Too much xc in Moab. YMMV.

My thoughts too. I've only scratched the surface of Pisgah, but it's just SO much fun riding there.
