Nice thing about being a Hawks fan is all the extra time. I mean we've had to watch a few extra minutes to see some endings, but I haven't watched a first half yet.

Wow, every Week 10 NFL matchup was either an upset or a good close game*.
*Ignoring the terrible Bengals

First time in history that Californians are pissed at something going to the far left.

NFL 2019/2020
I love ya man. But cmon... that “in the grass”” was arguably the very worst call in the NFL all season. And that’s saying a lot. There were at least 3 other questionable penalties in SF favor. But thankfully, as my wife (the long time collegiate athletic trainer) says “the ball never lies”. Go hawks!

As the 4th quarter started with Russell up 2 scores I thought "how's he going to get another winning drive in the 4th/OT here?" Ridiculous.
Seems like the biggest knock on Wilson for MVP thus far is the question of whether he can put a game away when leading. Does he care enough when it's not on the line?

The “in the grass” was a bad call. They happen in every game to every team. Still does not cancel out the fact that the seahawks kept giving the niners the ball. To say the refs were “for” the niners is just silly. I’m glad the hawks won but they got super lucky the niners were playing like shit. If they would have lost it would not have been due to the refs but due to the turnovers. Plain and simple. To overlook their shitty playing and blame the refs is just silly.
Love you too!

It was a scrappy game. Great play by both defenses. I just don’t like it when the refs insert themselves overtly.

Jimmy G did not play well. He needs to be cut off from banging porn stars until improvement is observed.
I think the refs fucked the Niners over on that 3rd down spot. Replay showed they had the first down and that would have chewed the clock up and gave them a closer field goal for the scrub kicker they picked up off the street.

This is not a new phenomenon. Refs insert themselves into games because that's their job. I think the rules of football have basically made it impossible for the current officials to call things right because they have too much to look at on every play. They need extra officials in the booth and probably one on the field to call player safety stuff IMO (much like the targeting reviews in the NCAA).
But that being said, Seahawks fans will still whine about the refs or the weather or the other team or whatever when they lose cause they are new money posers.

A little sloppy, but it was a great game in a great rivalry.
Jimmy played like shit. Clowney's hit on him early (not sure why that didn't get called) had him rattled the rest of the night. Receivers had 7 drops (some Jimmy had a part in with his throws). Rented backup kicker. Their best player out with a bad knee. McGlinchey and Staley both coming off injuries got completely owned all night.

That was a great game, first of the year for me and didn't disappoint. Go Hawks!

It's "In the GRASP" as in the QB was in the grasp of the defensive lineman with another defender approaching to make the kill shot. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...he-grasp-call/
Also, did anyone else here Gino Smith call tails in the overtime coin flip? I did and when the ref says, "your call is heads" Everyone on the couch looked at each other and laughed. We all thought we heard Gino call tails. Great game, looking forward to the week 17 game in Seattle.

NFL 2019/2020
Niners defense had Russell pretty much sacked for a huge loss and due to new rules to protect the QB the refs blew the whistle but Russell escaped and ran for a small gain instead which was brought back due to the call. Seahawk fans lost their shit. Only to have Russell make a big play the very next down.
Guaranteed that if Russell had been injured and a whistle hadn’t been blown the fanbois would have again lost their shit. Refs can’t win.
That was a shitty call by the way.

Glad I didn't stay up to see the end of this one. Between the never ending league-wide officiating issues (most of which are understandable, it's effectively become an impossible job) and knowing the amount of brain damage I'm witnessing real-time it's getting harder and harder for me to watch football.
