Anyone ski the Nordica Navigator 90?

Specifically off piste, I'm looking for lighter weight EC ski I can do some side and backcountry skiing on.

I tried the 186 at a local hill and couldn't get them into anything deeper than glare ice and 3/8" inch deep snow, so I'm looking for some feedback on how they do in deeper, variable snow. Very easy ski to ski on the groomed and air out on the bumps.

    TIA.

I use the 85mm version in 179cm and it handles 3-4" fine. The slight tip rocker gets the ski on top with no effort and I find myself using this ski as my daily driver most of the time. It handles tracked out soft snow pretty good too, as long as the snow isn't too manky. Very good on corn on warm spring days! Fun ski.

Was thinking along those lines that it could be a fun resort ski too. I had fun noodling around in the terrain park popping off stuff, doing 360's etc.

Have you had them in anything deeper like 6-10"?

My brother skis a Salomon Q-90, 185cm from a few years back for that application and he is happy with them. Hold a nice edge, huge rockered shovel floats pretty decent for the waist width. Should be able to be found cheap

Alas no, when the snow is that good I use my bigger skis.

It's a good ski and will do what you are looking for it to do.
