It goes up to Big Mountain Pass and then down to East Canyon reservoir and beyond. It's all paved and the road stays in good shape because it's closed in the winter. The state used to close the gates on the first weekend of November regardless of conditions but for the past couple of seasons they've waited for the first big snow storm. It used to be something special when you could ride it with worrying about cars because it's hilly with lots of switchbacks and fast sweeping turns. Sort of like your own personal Tour mountain stage. There's also a gravel connector road to Park City but that's not part of the main road.

The mountain biking up there is really good too. If you're not bothered by an occasional Flinstone car wash and trails that follow ridgelines directly rather than low angle switchbacks then overall it makes for an excellent change of pace compared to the Park City trails.
