    Skis and Boots

Willing to split bindings and skis if skis sell first.

    Everything is located in Jackson,
    WY.

    Always up for a trade.

Will ship worldwide at your expense

I’ll be in Steamboat and Summit Ct next week and can bring stuff with me if you want to save on shipping.

Details on the freerides (i.e. length)?

Also just as a side question: what prompts one to sell all of their gear like this?

Regular Freerides - Skied 3 days, stock build, mounted for Pivots at 305 bsl on the line.

Why am I selling them like this? I own way too many skis and my garage is too full. My loss, your gain.

The straight line measurement is closer to 190/191, they also ski really small. I was sort of amazed at how short they skied. I think it’s because of all the early rise in the tip.

Out of curiosity I have three questions:

what boot are you in now?
How did the ZB tour? I know like shit, but was it bearable? Good enough for a quick sidecountry bump?

Excited for your update in the quiver thread. Looks like you’ve got more stuff tested and figured out!

I’m in the Lange XT Free Pro Model most days. It does just about everything I want from a boot. I still have the RS 140s for inbounds carving days.

Just like you said, they tour like crap, lol, but they were fine because of what you got on the way down. I had to adjust my stride and stance when skinning a bit but once I figured the stride out, they are fine.

With the existence of the XT Free Tour Pro, touring in a ZB is pointless, so they are going away.

If there was a tad more volume between the bottom back do my heel and the top inside of my ankle, I would keep the ZBs. We just can’t get enough room in them to not rub on the bones on the top of my foot just blow my ankle.

The performance difference between the ZB and the RS140/XT Free Pro is huge. You need to be ready for it, the skis move when you want them to, no lag or sluggish response. I will give plug boots another shot in the future, they ski way to well, just not sure which boot, and I’ll probably use a different boot fitter.

Cool thanks, I’ll have to give the XT pro a shot one of these days.

I only really ski plugs at this point so I know how you feel. My redster 150 makes me so happy.

In my experience the Lange plugs have the widest heel areas out og all plugs, hopefully you can find someone that can get you sorted out.

Give it a shot, they aren’t a plug, but they are pretty darn good for what they are.

Widest as in side to side width or as in heel to top of ankle?

That’s like 1/3 of the quiver of skis and boots. I’m a recovering gear hoarder.
