Broke G3 Ion locking lever
Anyone broken the locking lever on an Ion toe piece? It still functions to accept my boot in/out and locks (using pliers to lever it up) but the plastic flapper is sheared off. Wondering if it’s replaceable via G3. Haven’t looked into with G3 but figured I’d ask the bright minds of TGR first. Thx!

Photo? How'd it happen?
To be clear, you can't step in and close the toes?

Happened as I was trying to lock the toe at the start of a tour. And I can step in, ski just fine. They even lock but not without lots of fiddling with a pair of pliers to move the remaining part of the locking tab into the locked position. As for a pic I’ll try to get one tomorrow when I’m off work. Thx.

Nice. Couple follow ups. Were yours a warranty thing? Mine are prob 3 years old at this point. Did G3 send you a new toe piece or just the plastic locking tab and if the latter, was it a pain to replace? Thx.

Perfect thanks for the info. I’ll hit up G3 and see what they can do.
