    Very Bad News on Climate

Well worth the read. By the end of the century the Wasatch and New England will not be skiing, while Colorado will have California Sierra Cement. And, all CONUS resorts will have thaw and re-freeze scenarios all the time in their much shorter winters.

We are are on the precipice at this point. It's going to be the start of a wild right in the next 15 years. The only thing to be done at this point is to attempt to mitigate the coming disasters.

We can probably slow it, but that would take people actually agreeing on wholesale change. We need political climate change first. So in other words, we're fucked. I mean, your kids are fucked as I'll be dead before 2050. Still makes me really sad.

AOC says it's only 12 years unless we get rid of airplanes and cowfarts. We're doomed.

Hey, but I'll be living closer to the beach! Guess it's about time to get that Meadowlands indoor skiing place open eh??

Big oil and coal should be taxed at 50% for the rest of their business life and all proceeds should go to flood mitigation, indoor ski hills, etc..

Its only bad news if you don't like Mountain bikes and beaches.

I am banking on these glaciers melting, my real estate portfolio is poised to become beach front. $$$$

Thats the beauty of this modern age. If you drive far enough you are bound to find someone who will ship your waste to China or India, so you can sleep better at night knowing you recycled.

And before some one says something.... its cool, I drive a non-repairable EV and trade it in ever 3 years. We also plant trees in our yard, to help offset the family ski trips. Just glad we can all do our small part.

Put a couple of these on a flat bed and hole up in a ski parking lot near you: http://www.indoorskiusa.com/find

Or drop one in the backyard until I can afford the 1way ticket to Mars... current suggested retail 2.1m for a direct commercial flight when it becomes available. Anyone seen a conditions report?

    thank goodness.

banff skiing is 6000-9000 ft and it might start to warm up a bit, snow more, and more people as everything else melts out.
