And can I have a spin off series of space Pirate Drummer?

And could we please not just have 6 episodes? The "filler " xray Bonus Material is so cool. I could watch it for hours.

8-10 episodes should have been the minimum for season 6. And please just wait 5 years and do books 7-9.*fanboy*
I mean 10 years would be really cool time jump and make up wise for the story, but I need more seasons.

Strange dogs novella. Explains future books and duerte's insanity/striving for immortality.
They repair "things" (everything) and make it better.
The kids appear in book 7 as prisoners/ Experiments and haven't aged a day.
See my spoiler end to book 9 further upthread

The dogs are protomolecule repair "robots" and live in the caves. No one realizes that they can make everything immortal/repaired.(not actually them, but they carry things to the repair pools) the kids die and return changed and are imprisoned by the government while duerte is building the laconia empire built on proto molecule tech and superior space craft.

The story takes place on the planet of the martian renegades.

    OK, wow
How the fuck are they going to cover that appropriately in the remaining episodes?

Not at all, I guess. I think they'll just give us the foundations of the rise of laconia and the proto molecule meddling through that perspective and we meet the MAD scientist Cortez again when he gets the kids? They won't do the time jump to book 7 in the series. Or maybe at the end as a teaser because why would they show us the massive ring station rail guns otherwise?

Edit: And we don't see the rise of the empire in the books either. They just show up through their ring gate 30 years later (in book 7) and conquer the galaxy.

The actor did that for the role to Show how stressed holden is. That's commitment.

For the second to last episode they sure spent a lot of time on people’s feelings. Way too much to resolve in the last episode

Yeah; methinks they're actually setting us up to demand that they come up with a 7th and final season, which, surprise, surprise - they just happen to have already started making!!

The presentation of the Loconia situation alone is impossible to resolve cleanly in one episode and screams for further development. Marcos, on the other hand .......

Caught up just in time for the finale!

The show's been great but I think it peaked in Season 3. I too agree that there's no way they can wrap this up neatly. It won't be the Lost finale, I hope, but there's going to be a lot of loose ends. I'm mostly just hoping that disarming that torpedo serves a purpose in the end, like how not killing Gollum ultimately saved everything in LOTR.

I suspect that they won't even try to tie it up. I suspect that they're hoping that at least another season gets the green light.

I miss Ashford, that guy was great. I want to see Marco die just for his sake.

The ongoing bombardment bugged me, too. Also, the damage from the the initial stealth rocks seemed pretty disproportionate to the stated yields, which were in the 1-10 MT range. Definitely destructive, but nothing that would create a tsunami that devastates the east coast or a shockwave that levels the prison.

There has to be two airlocks, one from space into the command deck and another from the command deck to the rest of the hull that's unpressurised.

I laughed so hard at that, it was awesome. Back in season 1 there was a scene where the detonators for mining charges were camping lanterns.

I just finished watching the season 6 finally

    It was well done

Will there be a season 7?

I’m not currently that interested in alien’s that bring things back to life.

And whoever said it. Holden looks like he has an eating disorder or terminal disease. - vibes to the actor

I'm also bummed that it's over. They tied up some of the loose ends but left a bunch dangling. Why do so many of the good shows get cancelled, while "Manifest" keeps trucking along?
