It is so sweet when road trips sync up with snow. Awesome trip and thanks for passing on the stoke.

Great words and nice photos. That was very entertaining.

So what's the deal with bringing kids to Silverton? My daughter is getting pretty strong at skiing but I'm not sure how she would do there or what sort of group to go with.

Be transparent (no pun intended), just let them know beforehand and on the morning, just go with a slow group. Each of my kids skied there a bunch when little (7+) and we always found a good group to ski with,

Maybe this was already clear, but I have never known pow chasing. Not like this man. However the ruminations on solo skiing are more familiar, if for different reasons.

    Bumpage.

What happened to all the photos?
I'm researching Silverton as I've got a spot in a good group of better skiers if I want it. Both enthralled by and intimidated by the lore of Silverton. Trying to psyche myself up to pull the trigger.

do eet. Best case scenario: fill a whole group and claim to be all "intermediate" skiers. Then you can roll more laps straight off the chair instead of getting the "expert" hike to the top of billboard.
Move upside and let the man go through...

If you make it back to the Anthony Lakes region this season let me know! I’m just north at school in Walla Walla and that is one of our clubs go to locations. Would love to meet up with anyone.
