    So what are you putting in your flask

    I like Hirams Cherry Brandy. All natural ingredients.Good sippin but not too tippsy. Put in my coke or hot chocolate or coffee if I need a boost. Great for munchin with dark chocolate.

    last weekend it was Dekuyper Razzmatazz schnapps with pyrat, good anti freeze, for the soul

    and here's a hot tip:
    since I lost the mini funnel I DIY'd one with this nip. not all have the wider diameter but Brady's works mint. YMMV

    Usually it’s Woodford Reserve, sometimes Wild Turkey 101, plenty good enough for lifts, trailheads, campfires, etc. I don’t like dipping below those as a benchmark, and I don’t usually bother putting the really good stuff in - it isn’t usually needed or appreciated in flask terrain.

    I’m not a schnapps or flavored likker guy.

    Always whiskey. Beyond that--whatever's on hand in the cabinet.

    Sometimes Laga 16. Sometimes Bulleit Bourbon or Rye. Sometimes standard Maker's.

    I keep two flasks full in winter:

    One is Wild Rye’s apple pie.

    The other is a mix of WT101 and Fireball, about 2:1. Although I’ve just been topping it off with bourbon so it’s closer to 10:1 now.
