That dentist saw him coming from a mile away. Must have been back when he had money.
What a train wreck that guy was/is/most likely will be.

Don't look now but the Tribe is slowly coming to life, getting 3/5 of the rotation back and young guys are producing.

    Hope springs eternal.

You’re a glutton for punishment my friend.

Another gem by Kershaw last night. I saw a stat that something like 18% of all his starts were scoreless.

Tampa receives permission to explore being a two-city team: early season in Tampa Bay, second half in Montreal.

And just like that, Clevinger is back on the 10 day IL with a new ailment, unrelated to the old ailment.

Back to back walk offs for the Dodgers, both by rookies. They’re a fun team to watch these days.

since you called me out, i'll reply.

I actually hadn't watched a minute of that series and have watched more of the Canadian football season than astros games this year. living in Houston, I have twice seen pro sports threaten to leave, oilers and astros without new playpens; so i'm out on blind loyalty and am more a national league fan than astros as those were the astros I grew up watching.

overall, not worried; despite the losses; the astros still have a 7 game lead in the al west and will easily make the postseason.

"Sources: Cubs considering sportsbook at Wrigley"

    https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/i...sbook-wrigley?

brilliant. people going to games are prime for getting them to drop 10 or 29 dollars on that game or some other game while the cubs get some fee probably per transaction for being located next to the sportsbook. if I were the guy who figured that out, i'd trademark it so I got all rights to see it to every sports team in the usa and Canada.

I thought the yanks would break the single season record for homeruns but a half season without judge and stanton (so far) seems to have them off of last years pace. Still, the Bombers set a new record with 28 consecutive games of hammering one out. With Sevy and German coming back sometime in the second half and these guys all starting to fire, this team seems to have some room to improve as well.

It helps that the AL is awful, especially the Blue Jays & Orioles.

They serve up home runs like a dad pitching to his son.
