I really don't see much happening good until there is a manager change.
In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Ha! I always hated his style. Papelbon theatrics he was not.

Nah. Other than giving the kid a ball and a couple plays, he was far off the line. I am just not that loud nor want to be that guy, plenty of others had it.. A lot of Mookie (and just Sox overall) love in that stadium. Kinda feel bad for Rox fans when the team isn't very good.
Let's Go Red Sox cheers about level 7.
Lets Go Rockies cheers at about 3-4.
    Overrun.

I was just kidding about Mookie, I figured you didn't bug him.

stubhub hasn't been great for sports, home field should mean something imo

Stubhub maybe in Boston, but the Rox fans aren't exactly coming out so seats can be had pretty easily. Bought mine as soon as I saw the schedule.

And my thing with Kimbrel and that goofy ass stance is that it looks like a try hard. It looks born of thoughts other than pitching and that bugs me I guess. Especially when you can't throw consistently.

It's weird kinda being happy the Yanks win. But I like the A's and will be pulling for them in the playoffs FT if/when Sox eliminated.

Man, I like offense but the HR barrage this year is getting out of fucking hand.

the Dodgers Rox game last night was a laugher, in Dodger stadium, not in Denver. Balls flew out Dodgers hit 7, but there were 11 total as well as 11 doubles. It marked the first time in big-league history that were at least 11 doubles and 11 homers hit in a single game.

The Dodgers already broke their season high for homers and there is a month left

The Dodgers’ 11 players to reach double digits in home runs is also an NL record: Cody Bellinger, league-leading 44 home runs. Then you have Max Muncy (33), Joc Pederson (30), Justin Turner (26), Kiké Hernandez (17), Will Smith (13), Corey Seager (12), Alex Verdugo (12), David Freese (10) and A.J. Pollock (10).
Thats 2 rookies & a couple of utility guys & as we all know its not just the senior circuit, the AL is even more crazy Twins just hit 268 for 2019, and that's enough to set the all-time MLB record for team home runs in a season, IN EARLY SEPTEMBER

If you dont think it s the balls check this out:

    Final AAA Home Run Totals:
    2018 - 3,652
    2019 - 5,749
AAA switched to MLB baseballs in 2019.

I seem to remember Dodger Stadium being a pitchers park.

    Braves are peaking.

That’s hilarious. Tito Francona said this week that teams are turning this 40 man roster into romper-room. Glad it changes next year.

Btw. Who's body dimensions did they use to determine the roof height in that bullpen dugout, Pedroia's?

Sox fire Dombrowski. I didn't see that one coming. Sale and Price have average years and he still has a job.

How can you fire the guy 1 season removed from a championship?
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.
