Well it's been an incredible decade for the Giants and their fans. 3 World Series Championships and we got to see a probably top 3 talent Dodger team lose in the postseason multiple times.
My worst fear is the Dodgers can Roberts and the Giants hire him. If the 1st part happens I bet he at least gets an interview. He wouldn't be my pick to replace the soon to be HOFer Bochy, but what do I know?

I actually feel bad for Kershaw, being such a great pitcher but bad in the post season may haunt him forever, wish some other dodger would have blown it but happy the dodgers blew it.
the dodgers are the NL yankees imo, and easy to hate unless youre from LATGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !

Huh? Scherzer, Strasburg, and Corbin is pretty much as good as it gets in a 5 game series.

If the Rays win, and the Giants can beat the spread tonight, it'll have been a helluva week for the underdog.

Plus we have a great young core and should be even better next year. I think Verdugo being out really hurt them though. If you replace all of those shitty Pollock at bats with him it may have been a different outcome. If wishes were fishes I guess. Still can’t figure what Roberts was thinking bringing in Kershaw in the 8th. His mo all year was to give up most of hits and runs in the first or second and then settle down. Basically the opposite of what you want with a reliever. Throw in his playoff history and it was a indefensible move. I’ve been a big defender of Roberts in the past but that was bad. And then going back to the well with Kelly in the 10th when he was coming off an injury, and you have a fully rested bullpen was almost as dumb. I think losing like the Braves did is better than knowing how close they came.
Time to back the brinks truck up for Rendon and Cole.

Glasnow was tipping his pitches.
Btw, can someone get Altuve a pacifier? Everytime the camera pans to him he's got his fingers in his mouth. Reminds me of the weird stretchy thing Pedroia does with his mouth constantly. 2nd basemen are the weirdest dudes on a baseball team for some reason."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

I’ll be making my first visit to Houston and Texas (last tick of the 50 states for me) for work...looking for a ticket to Sunday’s game...

I'm always skeptical about the tipping pitches thing... wouldn't the catcher see it?

Are those two shots from the same point in his "rest" position? If they are, then it's pretty obvious: not only is he holding his hands higher, but he's also leaning back in the first shot.
Way back when I played in college, our team was really good at picking up things like that from the opposing catcher and pitcher, especially when they were as good as someone like Glasnow... looking for any tiny advantage we could get. And we found "tells" all the time.
Good breakdown here:

Look how empty the seats are in Houston. Houston is a terrible city for all professional sports. They used to boo their football team.
